Floating Wine Bottle Holder

Hand made in my workshop in Glasgow, these wine bottle holders look like they should topple over but the bottle acts as a counterweight to keep the pressure on the stand.

Some bottles are longer or shorter than others so move the bottle neck further in or further out the hole until you feel the weight balance. Once balanced they are actually quite stable!

These are a great gift and also look stunning on a set table for a special occasion.

I made them using reclaimed steamed beech and whilst I applied some charring to half of them, I left the others natural. Both finishes have been oiled using Danish oil and have then been buffed smooth.

Due to each piece of wood being unique, there will be some slight variations in patterns, no two are the same.
