Ash and Oak Chopping Board - XL
I made two of these beautiful boards using mostly ash with one oak strip per board. Both are similar in density and both are very strong and hard wearing.
Ideal for use as daily chopping boards due to their large size (29cm x 52cm), but at 1.8cm thick they remain light enough to easily lift and move around the kitchen.
I finished these boards with my own blend of mineral oil and beeswax.
Care Instructions
Hand wash only, clean both sides and dry immediately. Leave standing on its edge to allow air to circulate around it until fully dry. Please don't soak or put in the dishwasher. When it starts to lose its lustre you can apply any shop bought chopping board oil to revive the colour and deepen the grain again.
